6-Day Embodied Movement Retreat in Southwest France
With Catja
May 25 - 31, 2026
Slow down, soften, and remember what it means to be fully alive in your body.
Embodied Movement is a spacious 6-day retreat for those longing to reconnect with their body, their senses, and the subtle richness of the present moment. Through gentle movement, deep rest, and simple rituals of attention, you’ll explore what it means to be fully here — in your body, in your breath, in your life.
This is not a retreat of doing. It’s an invitation to be — to feel, to listen, to move slowly enough to notice the details, to let your senses awaken and guide you home.
Throughout the week, you’ll be gently guided back to yourself through somatic movement and sensory-based awareness, breathwork and body-led expression, restorative practices like Yoga Nidra, subtle rituals and moments of quiet reflection, time in nature and unstructured spaciousness, and a kind, respectful group that holds space without expectation.
You’ll leave with a deeper connection to your body, breath, and inner rhythm — and a felt memory of what it’s like to be truly at home in your body.
Hosted by Catja at La Commanderie, a peaceful historic estate in the Gers region of Southwest France. All meals are 100% organic, plant-based, gluten-free, and dairy-free. No prior yoga or meditation experience required.
